Brown Fish Owl (Ketupa zeylonensis)Wetland habitats provide a huge range of food for the Brown Fish Owl. However he has to compete with other predators like Crocodiles and Honey Badgers who are more than just audacious: they’re downright mean. They’re invasive and eager to pick a fight. But then, there is a definite pecking order at the waterholes and the Owls displace a pond heron from its preferred fishing spot.
